CEO & Founder

Lance is the founder and chief executive of Premise Decision Engine. He has led a registered company since 2002, beginning in decision education and structured commercial reasoning in South Africa, then expanding the work into a repeatable discipline.

His focus is the same now as it was then. Read complex situations carefully. Act with structure rather than emotion. The recovery process you are reading about is the application of that discipline to a real commercial matter.

Executive Director, Governance & Capital Strategy

Cliff is the founder and senior partner of CK Locks Consulting and cohost of the Private Equity Profit Podcast. A serial entrepreneur and investor, he has formed and profitably exited three businesses, including one sold in 2005 to a Fortune 500 firm.

He has served on numerous boards for more than two decades, from technology startups to philanthropic causes, and brings multidisciplinary experience across operations, sales, finance, and governance.

Strategic Architect

Earl led the multi year strategic build behind the Premise method. His background spans AI engineering, legal precedent modelling, strategic finance, aerospace procurement strategy, and governance.

He brings disciplined command level thinking into the reasoning architecture, so decisions stay clear under pressure.

Recognition
Recipient of the Arthur S. Flemming Award, presented by President Ronald Reagan in 1986 for the development of an AI chip in 1983.
A Note on Integrity

Something worth knowing.

In 2020, a Texas regulator issued a cease and desist order referencing an international project and naming me. It was later determined the order was mistakenly directed.

I have no business operations and no residence in Texas. There have been no further actions and no complaints in all the years since.

This is shared proactively because in any serious decision, trust is strengthened through transparency, not avoidance.
